This advert shows equality between people. In the first part of the picture you can see a young boy buttoning his fathers shirt. It is a long shot so you can see the room they are in- it looks very basic, this suggests that they might not have much money. Ontop of the picture of the two people there is white block writing saying 'everybody's work is equally important'. the picture is in black and white- this really lets the meaning stand out. The two people are also wearing jeans.
In the bottom half of the picture you can see three people. Two are male and one is female, they are also all wearing jeans. It is also in black and white and has the same writing over it. These two groups of people are quite different, where in the first picture it looks as if they are quite poor and the bottom they dont look quite as poor, i think this because in the first picture the little boy is helping his dad get dresses while this dad (is looks like he is the father) has his arms around the two people- suggesting that he looks after them that is the connotation. the man (in the second picture) is looking straight at the camera- this is direct adress.
These two pictures- and the thoughts that they trigger fit very well with the words- that everyones work is just as important as the next person. The two groups of people are also different in race, the first people are black and the second group is white, suggesting that all races are equal too. The pictures also suggests target audiences- there is a young boy, a lady and three men (in all the pictures) this means that all people can wear the levi brand. The logo is also in both halves of the picture- it is the only coloured thing in the picture, this helps it stand out more.
